France Telecom First Foreign Telecom to Join China's TD-SCDMA Forum

According to a report by the People's Daily on May 26, France Telecom has joined the TD-SCDMA Forum, a Chinese industry group dedicated to promoting China's own 3G mobile communications standard. A number of foreign equipment makers like Siemens and Motorola are already members of the group, but France Telecom is the first foreign telecom to join.
